Sanjay Kumar Srivastav is an acclaimed visual artist whose journey began with a deep-rooted passion for painting, recognized and nurtured by his father early in life. A master of form and expression, Srivastav has spent over four decades shaping his unique artistic voice—one that blends storytelling with emotional depth, vivid color, and intricate detail.

His solo exhibitions span some of India’s most prestigious galleries, including multiple shows at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai (1993, 1996, 2004, 2011, 2014) and Shreedharani Art Gallery, New Delhi (1989, 1992, 2007). He has showcased his work at elite venues such as Leela Kempinski Hotel, curated by Vikram Sethi of The Art Trust, and Museum Art Gallery, Mumbai, curated by Premal Sanghvi and Bina Aziz. Most recently, he held successful solo exhibitions at Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi (2023), and Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata (2024).

Internationally, Srivastav’s presence has been strong—he was part of a two-man show at Roa Art Gallery, Trafalgar Square, London, and another at Yantra, Mumbai, supported by Yash Birla and The Art Trust. He has also participated in significant group exhibitions such as the Harmony Show curated by Tina Ambani (1998, 1999, 2001, 2003), the RPG Group’s “Art for God’s Sake” at the National Museum, Germany (2007), and shows in Singapore, New York, and Germany.

Sanjay’s works are held in private collections of India’s most prominent industrialists, designers, and film personalities, including Anil Ambani, Parmeshwar Godrej, Abu Jani – Sandeep Khosla, Manish Malhotra, Rishi Kapoor, Urmi Piramal, and Harsh Goenka, among others. His paintings have also been sold through leading galleries such as Art & Soul, Galleria, The Art Trust, and Art Musings.

Srivastav has actively contributed to the art ecosystem through his participation in and curation of high-profile art camps around the world. These include collaborations with The Art Trust and RPG Group in Mumbai, and international art camps in Russia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Morocco, Italy, and South Africa.

His works have also made a mark in the secondary art market, with multiple paintings auctioned by Asta Guru (2023–24) and one by Saffronart.

With an expansive body of work and an unyielding commitment to his craft, Sanjay Kumar Srivastav continues to inspire, engage, and elevate contemporary Indian art on both national and global stages.
