RAJESH SHARMA
Rajesh Sharma is a Delhi-based Indian artist whose creative practice spans landscape sensibilities and figurative oil painting. With over four decades of artistic engagement, his work reflects a deep connection to nature and the shifting moods of mountains, hills, and valleys, often expressed through non-site-specific, atmospheric scenes and a cosmic interplay of light and colour.
Academically, Rajesh is a commerce graduate with a Post Graduate qualification in Business Management. Drawn strongly toward creativity, he pursued a Diploma in Computer Animation and Designing and went on to build a successful professional career in graphic design. For more than 20 years, he has worked with leading companies and MNCs as a Graphic Designer and Flash Developer, developing a strong foundation in visual discipline, composition, and aesthetic clarity.
While design has been his profession, painting has remained his lifelong passion. Working primarily in oil on canvas, much of his work is figurative, focusing on human presence, emotion, and form. What began as a personal devotion to art has now evolved into a serious commitment, and Rajesh is currently preparing to transition toward pursuing painting full-time, dedicating himself more deeply to his artistic journey.
