Dinesh Banduni is a trained artist and creative professional who graduated from the Delhi College of Art in 1994. He began his career in print media, working as an Art Director with some of India’s leading newspapers and magazines. Over the years, he has also designed commemorative stamps and first-day covers for the Philatelic Department of India, as well as for institutions such as the BCCI and Prithvi Theatre, reflecting his strong design sensibility and visual discipline.

Despite a successful professional journey in design, Banduni has always remained deeply connected to his first love—fine art. His practice is rooted in figurative drawing, and he works primarily in charcoal and acrylic on paper and canvas. As an active and passionate explorer of visual expression, he has participated in numerous exhibitions across India and internationally.

Inspired by the majestic landscapes of Uttarakhand and the Himalayan spirit, his works reflect lived experience shaped by travel, observation, and his background as a sportsman and martial arts practitioner. These influences lend his art a sense of rhythm, balance, and spontaneity. For Banduni, the process of creation is as meaningful as the finished artwork—guided by intuition, emotion, and the joy of spontaneous expression. In the present exhibition, he presents two works—an abstract and a portrait—both emerging from moments of pure creative energy.
