SHIVANI MATHUR
Shivani Mathur is a contemporary artist from Delhi, India. She holds a Master’s degree in Arts with specialization in Oil Painting from Agra University (1999) and has built a strong professional presence through sustained artistic practice and extensive exhibitions across India and the UAE.
Working primarily in oil, her paintings are recognized for their rich, vivid, and mystical visual language. Shivani blends elegance with emotional intensity, using bold colours and expressive forms to create compositions that are immersive and deeply resonant. Over the years, she has carved a distinct niche within the discipline of oil painting.
Her notable series on Radha–Krishna and Adam & Eve explore universal themes of love, devotion, affection, and human emotion. A recurring focus on womanhood runs through her work, where femininity is portrayed with grace, strength, and subtle symbolism. Her paintings invite viewers into an intimate visual dialogue that bridges personal experience and spiritual reflection.
Shivani Mathur has held solo exhibitions at prominent venues such as Gallery 76, Dubai International Art Centre, Creations Art Gallery, Dubai, and Dubai Media City, and has participated in numerous group exhibitions, art fairs, and charity projects including World Art Dubai, India Art Festival, and shows at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai. She is a member of the Dubai International Art Centre (DIAC) and has received awards recognizing her artistic excellence.
